Website Design: Write Away With Me
Write Away With Me is a start-up business setting out to help children explore the magical world of creative writing and storytelling. Owner, Beth Cregan, a primary school teacher and creative writer wanted to share her passion for spinning a good yarn and teach inspired children – often overlooked in the education system – the importance of being creative with words.
When Beth came to us with her vision, it came in the form of scrap pieces of paper, mind-maps and interior design books (for visual inspiration). From all of this chaotic information, we were able to narrow down a direction for the look and feel of information that would make her website coherent… and a little bit quirky.
Inspired by brightly coloured textiles and beach-chic designs of Melbourne’s coastal regions, we created a fun, CMS based website (powered by Wordpress) which reflects Beth’s personality and style, whilst providing prospective parents and schools with information about her unique services. To complement the website, we also created a MailChimp Newsletter to help her spread the word about Write Away With Me.
