Corporate Identity: Bridge Road ELC
The basis of this logo is inspired by the historical bluestone structure of the nearby Hawthorn Bridge – a geographical landmark. By adopting an organic illustrative style, this logo portrays a childlike innocence. Its hand drawn stones and coloured shapes symbolise the elementary objects which are synonymous with education to create a curved arch, evoking thoughts of hop-scotch, stepping stones and a semi-circle of children as they listen to storytelling.
The selection of colours alternate between the natural hue of a stone and skips between a green circle – for the Centre’s focus on natural amenities, a red triangle – symbolising equality, a blue pentagon – depicting a safe environment for children to play and have fun and a yellow star at the end of the bridge, to embody education and growth.
