Corporate Identity: Larry the Locksmith

With friendly and efficient service being the fundamental factors of Larry the Locksmith’s success, it was key (no pun intended) for us to portray Larry’s personal approach and impeccable level of customer service through the rebranding of his mobile locksmith business.

From the beginning, our intention was to create a brand that was classically casual, identifiable, memorable and approachable. To define Larry as a sole trader, we steered in the direction of a garage-esque aesthetic from yesteryear – when customer service was second to none. To promote Larry as a sole trader, a script based typeface, with an angled direction demonstrated mobility and individuality, whilst the underlying ribbon reinforced his high level of workmanship. To complement the design’s over-arching vintage style – teal, black and white were chosen as the brands core colours.
