H.A.W.C.S is an acronym for Helicopter Air Watch for Community Safety. The soaring security company wanted to move away from their original ‘football team’ motif of a flying eagle with outstretched talons, and sought for something far more striking that

would reinforce the company’s principal objective. Using traditional aviation wings, an image of a chopper, and clever typography, a logo that defined security, power and safety was (air) born.
