Cali Dance Textiles, a local fabric retailer came to Koodoz Design with flowing fonts and silver stars in mind. Adopting their initial sketches, we developed several options based solely on their ideas. Considering the nature of the business, the final design that was chosen communicated the bare essence of their trade; textiles and textures.

By applying an ink-based typeface with a handwritten feel, we were able to emphasise just this. The ‘Star’ and ‘Textiles’ brush stroke were given a metallic silver finish (PMS 877) to add that final touch to a company which deals daily with the ‘glitz and glam’ of dance materials.
