On the social…
Love it, hate it or have no clue about it, Social Media is well and truly got its claws into the backbone of the internet. Buzz words like Web 2.0 and Social Networking are now common speak for internet folk, and sites such as Facebook and Twitter are as much as household names as Hoover and Kleenex.
And it seems as though it’s here to stay. Even the naysayers, who at one time suggested that these social sites were just a fad, would have to admit that social media is still going strong and is even on the increase. Read on!
Another arrow for the web designers quiver…
The @font-face CSS property is a relatively new kid on the block, and it’s supported by all the major browsers, even IE7! All in all it’s a fantastic tool for web designers to embed fonts into their websites, and it out-does the aging methods of image replacement and sFIR Flash Replacement.
Even though it’s not that new, it looks like there’s still a teething problem or two out there. Read on!

Firstly, I have to preface this post by mentioning that I’m not the type to go on a public rampage about the quality of a business’ brand, buuut… this one’s been buggin’ the hell out of me for far too long and something needs to be said. The owners of Lazy Moe’s restaurants need to be informed of their poor choice.
Now the only reason I’ve been driven to write this post is due to the fact that I see this ‘logo’ every freakin’ day and it grinds me to the bone. Read on!

Oh my god! It’s been waaaay to long since we last posted something on The Klog.
As I wipe away the cobwebs and blow the layer of dust from WordPress, I realise it’s been close to three months since we last posted something on here. The Klog has seriously been neglected.
Not to make excuses, but things have been somewhat busy in the office (to say the least) over the last few months, and as a result, this section of our site has been relegated to the backseat. Hopefully, with some improved time management and allocated dedication, we will be able to find the time to tend to the blog a little more regularly. Read on!

It’s official. We’re back from our summer break and after a couple of weeks in the tropical climates of Vanuatu, I’ve managed to come back with a few added shades of pink to my now shedding epidermis. Hard to believe how quickly it has gone, but it’s now time to get back into the groove.
To kick off the new year, I thought I’d spread the word about a documentary called Typeface. A quaint film about Hamilton Wood Type Museum, a museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, that tells the story of a bygone-era in Typography and the fading art of hand-making letterforms. Read on!

Prior to compiling this list, I honestly thought I’d struggle to find 10 worthy albums. From what I can remember, it didn’t really seem like a stellar year of music (to me). However, once I started flicking through my playlists, it soon became evident that we have, in fact, been spoilt. Either I wasn’t paying attention, or all of these great albums snuck up on me.
Well, without further ado, it’s time to reveal my ‘Top 10 Albums of 2009′ (plus another ten or so worthy runners-up).

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, we had made up our minds on the client gift for two-double-o-nine that was gonna smash last year’s donut idea outta the park.
Well, after about 2 weeks of brewin’ down at the local Barleycorn Brewers, a week worth of ‘post-production’ and 2 days worth of trekking around Melbourne, we have finally, finished hand-delivering some very cool (literally on ice), custom made and designed beer to all of our wonderful clients!
