Well, I finally had my iPhone unlocked today by Optus. Hooray!

When I purchased it last Friday, I was told it could take up to 10 days for the IMEI of the phone to be completely freed from the temporary provider to my existing provider Telstra. So now I can enjoy all the benefits of my new toy, including posting blogs from the palm of my hand with the iPhone WordPress app.

Technology is rad!
